Focus on Impact and Qonnected Logistics Join Forces for the Development of Urban Logistics Hubs

Focus on Impact and Qonnected Logistics proudly announce a strategic partnership for the development of innovative urban logistics hubs. This collaboration aims to make urban supply and distribution more sustainable and efficient, with a focus on livability, accessibility, and environmental impact.

At a time when cities face increasing pressure on mobility, stricter environmental regulations, and shifting consumer behavior, the need for smart logistics solutions is more urgent than ever. With this partnership, Focus on Impact and Qonnected Logistics are taking a significant step toward a future-proof logistics ecosystem.

The urban logistics hubs, known as Q-Hubs, will be strategically located on the outskirts of cities and serve as transfer points where goods are consolidated and then delivered into the city using zero-emission vehicles or other sustainable transport methods. The joint project combines Focus on Impact’s social vision and project expertise with Qonnected Logistics’ operational knowledge and technological capabilities.

The rollout of the Q-Hubs involves an investment of over 500 million euros.

The first hubs are planned for the major Dutch cities: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, and Eindhoven. Both parties have expressed their intention to expand this approach to other cities across the Netherlands in the future.
