IN OUR ECOSYSTEM
You use materials.
Control you waste

circular
We Don't Have to Tell You…
Regulations around the use, tracking and end-of-life handling of building and installation materials are only getting stricter — and for good reason.
In the EU, construction and demolition activities account for 38.4% of all waste generated. That makes construction the single largest source of waste among the sectors measured by Eurostat.
And that figure even excludes a huge amount of mineral waste. The EU's construction and demolition waste stream includes materials such as concrete, bricks, wood, glass, metals and plastics.
The direction is clear: waste prevention, reuse, recycling and better material management are becoming increasingly important — both environmentally and commercially.
The question is no longer whether construction needs to become more circular.
The question is how you manage it without adding more work to your organisation.
That's where Qonnected comes in.
Material Information Is Crucial
You cannot control, reduce, reuse or recycle waste if you don't know what materials are being used in the first place.
Whether you are constructing a new building, renovating an existing one or demolishing a building, the starting point is always the same:
Know your materials.
What was used?
Where was it used?
How much was used?
When will it become available again?
And what can be reused, recovered or recycled?
Without that information, waste management remains largely reactive.
We know your materials.
And because Qonnected connects material data with your BIM, procurement, logistics and circularity flows, we can use that knowledge to predict, plan and manage what happens to those materials throughout their lifecycle.

We know your waste before it exists.
From material flow to circular waste.
Construction materials circularity
For having control over your obligatory materials circularity you need to know -at least- what materials you used.
We know; if you have chosen your Bill of MAterils to be gathered by Q-Product, we know all details. Including the coding for re-use, recylcing and so on.
When using Qonstruct we also give you the opportunity to choose these materials based on their circularity specs. (and price of course..)
All together we (and you) have all the details needed to report on circularity, get the best outcomes.
For free.
You stay in control. Q-Circular gives you the choice.
We Know What Your Project Will Produce
Over time, Qonnected can predict how much waste your materials will generate, where it will occur and when it will need to be collected — before the waste is even created.
Because we work from your BIM model and Bills of Materials, we can identify predictable waste at the source.
For example, 2-metre plasterboard sheets used against a 2.40-metre ceiling will inevitably create offcuts, even when the sheets are installed continuously.
And the more projects we process, the better our models become.
We can combine project-specific BIM data with models based on typical building archetypes. A residential building generates a very different waste profile from a logistics centre, office building or hotel.
Over time, these patterns allow us to predict waste before construction starts.
From Prediction to Better Waste Streams
Because we also know the material and its associated waste-handling requirements, AND WHEN WE DELIVER we can determine how different waste streams should be handled before they are created.
Instead of treating everything as mixed construction waste, we can identify opportunities to create clean mono-streams, reuse materials, recover valuable resources and route each waste type to the most appropriate processor.
The result is a shift from reactive waste management to predictive circularity.
We don't just manage the waste you create.
We know what waste you are likely to create — and can plan for it before it happens.
HOW OR WHAT

And Back to Tendering…
When you create a tender, you need to address the circularity requirements — including how materials will be handled, reused, recycled and disposed of.
With Qonnected, much of this information is already available.
Based on your BIM, Bills of Materials and material choices, we can predict the types, quantities and weights of waste your project is likely to generate — including potential reuse and recycling streams.
Q-Circular can then turn this information into a comprehensive circularity section for your tender, including the planned handling and optimised logistics of the resulting waste streams.
So your circularity plan isn't a separate exercise.
It is generated from the same material and logistics data already flowing through Qonnected.
From tender → materials → logistics → waste → reuse & recycling — and back to tendering.
One connected flow. One set of data. One less thing for you to do.
