Qonnected named semi-finalist in the Smart Building / Smart Construction Innovation World Cup 2026

Qonnected has been selected for the semi-finals of the 9th Smart Building / Smart Construction Innovation World Cup®. On 24 November, we will present our approach to smart, AI-driven construction logistics at BIM World MUNICH.

More than 90 startups, scale-ups and technology companies from over 40 countries submitted their innovations. The nomination gives Qonnected an international platform to demonstrate how we make construction logistics more efficient and sustainable.

Up to 50% savings on logistics costs

Construction logistics is often inefficient. Suppliers schedule their own transport, subcontractors arrange deliveries independently, and all these flows converge on the construction site. This leads to unnecessary journeys, waiting times and additional costs.

Qonnected connects and coordinates the entire construction supply chain. Our AI-driven platform brings together main contractors, subcontractors, manufacturers, suppliers, transport providers and construction logistics hubs. We integrate processes ranging from tendering and procurement to transport, storage, on-site delivery and reverse logistics.

With this approach, construction companies and their subcontractors can save up to 50% on logistics costs. By consolidating transport and aligning deliveries more closely with construction schedules, we reduce unnecessary journeys, waiting times and additional handling. This also helps reduce costs caused by errors and delays, as well as emissions. We also enable direct purchasing from manufacturers, allowing customers to save up to approximately 40% on wholesaler markups.

We are also taking concrete steps in the Netherlands. We are starting work with Dura Vermeer on the Amstelwood project in Amsterdam, putting our approach to smart, coordinated construction logistics into practice.

A step towards our European ambition

Our participation supports Qonnected’s ambition to become a European player in construction logistics. BIM World MUNICH provides an opportunity to showcase our approach internationally and build relationships with potential customers and partners. For us, the selection is welcome recognition of that ambition.

During the semi-finals on 24 November 2026, the jury will select eight finalists. They will pitch again on 25 November, when the three winners will be announced.
